Where can I find your building guides?
Building guides are free to download at chrismcveigh.com. In the even that server cannot be reached, please try my backup server at http://powerpig.ca
Why do you not include printed guides with your kits?
Full-color printed guides are quite costly to produce. It's not economically feasible for me to include printed guides with each kit unless I pass the cost along to the customer, and that is not an acceptable option. Furthermore, printed guides add weight to each shipment. This would push most shipments into the next weight class, raising the base cost of the shipment.
Where does this store ship from?
I ship all products from Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.
What is this store's return and exchange policy?
All sales are final and exchanges are not permitted. I understand that might sound harsh, but you should have a good understanding of what you're ordering at the time you place your order. Although I cannot be held responsible for items that have been damaged in transit, I will do what I can to address problems on a case by case basis. Please contact me within ten days of your kit arriving to report a missing part; I will send out a replacement as soon as possible!
How long will it take to receive my order?
Please allow 1-2 days for processing of your order. Once shipped, most items reach destinations in the US and Canada within two weeks. Overseas delivery will depend on distance, but for most locations, delivery occurs within 2-4 weeks.
I just placed a pre-order. When will it ship?
In most cases, a pre-order will ship within two or three weeks of the order date. If the time frame for delivery is further off, it will be noted in the item description. If you'd like an update on the status of your pre-order, please don't hesitate to contact me.
How do you ship your items within Canada?
All items within Canada are shipped via Canada Post's Expedited Parcel services, which is trackable and insurable.
How do you ship your items to the United States?
Items sent to the United States are shipped with Canada Post's USA Small Packet service (for shipments valued under $60), Tracked Packet - USA (for shipments valued between $60 and $100) or Expedited Parcel - USA (for shipments valued over $100). The latter two methods are trackable and include insurance.
How do you ship your items Internationally?
Most items sent overseas are shipped with Canada Post's International Small Packet service to keep costs reasonable; however, it is not trackable or insurable. Where the total value of the shipment permits it, shipments are made with Canada Post's new Tracked Packet - International service, which includes up to $100 insurance and is trackable. More expensive options are available; if you're concerned about your shipment, please contact me to arrange a shipping upgrade.
Will I have to pay import taxes/duties (or other customs fees)?
Many countries apply taxes and fees to inbound parcels based on the listed value of the contents. This varies dramatically from country to country; in some localities, it is simply the country's tax rate; in others, a duty is applied based on the type of goods being imported. As an example, United Kingdom residents typically pay 20% VAT plus an £8 handling fee on all imports. Please contact your local post office for clarification before you place your order if you are concerned. (Note: United States residents do not pay any import taxes/duties on my products.)
Do you accept orders placed outside of the US?
Yes. I am based in Canada and will ship to anywhere that Canada Post delivers.

Although I enjoy a good working relationship with the company, Chris McVeigh/Powerpig Productions/Powerpig's Builds 'n Things is an independent entity not affiliated with or endorsed by The Lego Group.

How do I pay for my order? Is it secure?
